Hace unos días, durante nuestros devocionales, creímos que Dios quería recordarnos algo importante como comunidad: ¿Porqué hacen lo que hacen?
Todos en el Staff tuvimos que dejar a nuestra familia, amigos, iglesia, un trabajo estable y comodidades, cultura, comida, incluso nuestro propio país para venir a Morelia, México y servir en este lugar.

A few days ago, during our devotionals, we felt that God wanted to remind us of something important as a community: Why do you do what you do?
All of us on the Staff had to leave our family, friends, church, stable job, comforts, culture, food, and even our own country to come to Morelia, Mexico, to serve in this place.

One of the biggest battles in the missionary field is faith. And perhaps you are asking yourself: faith? but? aren't they supposed to be Christians and trust in God? aren't they supposed to believe that without faith it is impossible to please God? Can missionaries deal with something like this?

We know that God can speak to us in many ways and we believe that He also speaks to us through social networks. He always finds the opportunity to capture our attention and let us know what His will is for our life.
We’re Not in Kansas Anymore
Culture shock is real and from someone who never left the United States, this reality was particularly hard to swallow. I didn’t recognize the food, people or language and had no idea how God could possibly use a white girl from Nebraska like me. But of course He proved me wrong.
Gratitude is in my heart
We know that 2020 has been a year of many difficulties, things happened that were not planned and many others that we dreamed of simply vanished amidst the uncertainty. It was a year that for many left the mark of a loss, of a painful goodbye, or of frustrated plans by a cause out of the ordinary: a global pandemic.
Loss
It has been 10 months since his death and God has spoken to me about what I should learn from this terrible situation. He arranged everything so that I could do my DTS at YWAM Morelia.
This that I’m sharing, is what has left a mark on my life, but God continues to do His work in me, I can see that He is never wrong. He has great things for me.
The reality in front of the mirror
Many times I have had moments where I see what is in front of the mirror and I realize that it is only the reflection of a fake reality, because on the other side there is a world of lies created by fantasies.
